Summer 2020 CHSPE Safety Protocols

  • All proctoring staff and test takers will be required to wear face covering at check-in, during the testing session, and while on the testing premises. Test takers will be required to briefly lower their face mask when their photo identification is checked. Test takers are required to bring their own mask. If an examinee removes their face covering aside from check-in, they will be warned once, and then dismissed from the test if the face mask is removed again. The examination will be invalidated, and a refund will not be issued.
  • Only the test taker is allowed to line up for check-in outside the building and allowed inside the building. Test takers must maintain social distance while in line and inside the building. Parents, guardians, other family members, and anyone not testing must remain in their vehicle or somewhere else offsite during the test administration. The testing facility will not have restrooms available for non-test takers.
  • Test Takers will be required to have their temperature taken and answer some brief health questions. Any test taker with a temperature over 100.0 degrees will not be allowed to test and provided information about requesting a refund.
  • There will be hand sanitizer available in each testing room, and restrooms available to properly wash your hands as needed.
  • The testing rooms will have ten or fewer test takers, with proper social distancing space between each table.
  • Testing tables will be disinfected by janitorial staff prior to each test session.
